CLEP (Children’s Learning Enhancement Program)
Praise
- For the opportunity God gave to HCM to partner with Union Baptist Church by providing additional volunteers to their program. Serving alongside other believers
from a northend church has long been a ministry goal for HCM.
Prayer
- That the CLEP tutoring kids will be consistent in their attendance this year. Every year as the weather gets nicer the numbers tend to drop off significantly.
- For a miraculous resolution of all of the education gaps/issues facing the children in the north end. For God’s blessings on the Hartford Board of Education as
they strive to improve public education.
Noah’s Art
Praise
- For our volunteer director, Ms. Lia, and all of the Noah’s Art volunteer staff.
Prayer
- That God would bless the children with His peace, order, and love.
- That the children would be more focused and listen and respect the teacher and others.
- For a consistent volunteer to serve as the director’s assistant.
- For the children to know Jesus and learn what it means to follow Him.
- For the children to discover their God-given creative/artistic talents and to nurture them through the program.
Women of the Vine
Praise
- For the new volunteers from a Bloomfield church.
- For the improved attendance since moving the program to Friday evenings.
Prayer
- That the Lord would motivate more women to come to our program
- That our guest speakers and volunteers would all be Spirit filled and full of passion to serve the Women of the Vine.
- Pray for the Spirit's leading as we invite women to attend this new ministry. May God bring the Women of the Vine to a saving knowledge of Christ and to a deeper
relationship with Him.
Noah's Children's Ministry
Praise
- Praise God for our new and first Children's Ministry Director, Leah Prescott, who will oversee and grow children’s ministries.
Prayer
- For the Lord to bless our effort to deepen the impact of our children’s ministries by going to a daily after school and summer day camp model.
Hartford YoungLife (Teen Outreach formerly known as “tL”)
Praise
- Praise God for the new people who have stepped forward and volunteered for Urban Young Life in Hartford.
Prayer
- For God to continue to reach lost teens in the north end and for those who know him to grow deeper in their walk with Him.
- For the Spirit to lead us as we embark upon a new partnership with Urban Young Life, an experienced ministry in our teen gospel outreach, as we reach out to the
embattled youth of the north end as a key to transforming the community.
- That the youth would transition into the new format when we begin this spring and that our numbers would continue to grow and that our youth would reach out to
their friends in the community.
- For male volunteers (and role models) for the new Hartford YoungLife program.
- For a teen girl and her family, as they move into their new apartment in the south end of Hartford.
- For a teen girl for stressful issues going on at home and for an opening in her work schedule on Friday evening so she can attend Hartford YoungLife and on
Sundays so she can begin attending church again.
- Also for encouragement for teen girl who depends on the support of our volunteers and our youth program.
HCM Overall
Prayer
- Pray for the Lord to provide the funding needed to expand all of our ministries in His time and in His way.
- Please pray for God to continue to provide the resources needed to do His work!
